Har Chhoti Khushi Ka Celebration! :)

My Blog is probably in a fainting spell right now, what with it's owner posting twice in the same week! Chill. This is just a short FYI post. You know those days when every small thing brings a smile to your face? The Har Chhoti Khushi Ka Celebration days? I had mine yesterday! No big news to the effect of I fell in love, or I got a new job or Patrick Dempsey said Hi to me. Just small little things that made me go :) . So here's my list: I got the Auto-rickshaw at the door step, and beat this - he offered, all by himself, to charge me by the Meter! Get the Champagne out! I don't drink, but this calls for celebrations. There's this bee in my room, which has pretty much made the curtain it's home. I have tried all methods of evacuation. Nothing works! Yesterday, it left. Just like that. While I am sad about losing a friend, can we silently blast a couple of balloons and celebrate in darkness, before the stupid thing comes back on seeing the sugar and lights? Arre...

Phhbtsfsmdsk Or Blah

Oh well. It's Monday again. Can you believe the utter audacity of this? The week barely crawls by and the weekend flies by at the speed of light. Un-freakin-believable. Whatever. Sigh. I have nothing to write about. Zilch happening in my life. So random musings it is going to be! I am so sleepy, it's not funny. For a second, if you tell me I am sleep-blogging, I would even buy it. That sleepy. And that at 10:30 in the morning! I don't get the logic behind forcing sleepy employees to come to work. How is it ever going to be productive? Na-uh. Never. They should just let us finish our sleep, come to office at our convenience, let us take some forty winks after lunch and work when we feel like. That would not just be productive, but, it would also result in some out of the world employee satisfaction. True Fact. I was super-impressed by all these Bloggers who have started writing fiction. There was once when I did that for the only Blogathon I ever participated in. But never...

Yawwwnnn!

It's Wednesday, 3 pm in the afternoon and we just had a team lunch at a pretty cool restaurant, I am sleepy and trying really really hard to look alert even as I slump in front of the monitor. I am not kidding! Remember that Tom 'n' Jerry cartoon where Tom keeps his eyes stretched open with the help of match sticks? I probably need crowbars instead! My only hope of getting out of office without the embarrassment of falling off the chair while drowsing is completing this post somehow! Anyhoo. Moving on to the post. Point is, I always had this thing against Indian authors. Probably because they write much too complicated stuff, not at all to my liking. I like things clean, simple, straightforward.(Not as simple as Chetan Bhagat though!) Basically, I  have too many judgement criteria! Surprisingly, over the past few months, I have come across some really impressive books by Indian authors. I figured, if I can write posts to criticize these guys, I can also write posts to prais...

Shhhhhh...!

Ladies and Gentlemen! Thank you for your attention pliss. INCEPTION has been watched. The brain has reached various levels of madness, reality and imagination. While I collect splattered bits and pieces of my sanity, please bear with this little snippet of a post and do not expect any sane post for the next 24-48 hours or so.  In the meantime, if you haven't watched Inception, please, I am requesting you here, please go watch it! It is a piece of imagination, well beyond our times and needs to be watched ASAP! Thank you for bearing with me! Signing out, Still dreaming of Inception, Simply NOT me! ;)

When It Rains, It Pours. Or Not.

So the Monsoons reached Delhi and "apparently", it rained too! Unfortunately, I don't know for what fault of mine, but I don't get to actually see the rain. Ever. Last week on Wednesday, it poured and I got phone calls from everyone warning me to be careful, stand under shelters, not jump into pools, wait for the rain to end, not walk under electric poles, to stay away from loosely hanging trees, all because it was raining pouring in South Delhi. You know me, nuh? I got all excited because I didn't have an umbrella and here was a golden chance to actually enjoy the monsoon. I even started playing this song, Ab ke Sawan Aise Barse on my iPod. Basically I was all prepared. Just to give you a slight idea of the logistics of this: (Excuse the map for the directions. I am directionally challenged and this was the ONLY way I could visualize it. Sorry!) So there I was all excited, dreaming about getting wet. I heard the rumbles, while in the bus and I could barely w...
